Road Maintenance Department
The Road Maintenance Department is composed of four staff members, equivalent to 3.6 FTE (including maintenance of school premises). Its activities cover both the maintenance of public areas and tasks related to the upkeep of municipal buildings.
What are its tasks?
Maintenance of municipal roads, paths, and sidewalks (sweeping, minor surface repairs). Larger works are subcontracted to external companies.
Mowing of all green areas (road edges, public spaces, football and school grounds).
Weeding of the cemetery and all areas with wild vegetation using hot water treatment.
Snow removal and salting of all municipal paths and access roads.
Cemetery maintenance and logistical support during funeral ceremonies.
Maintenance of the two municipal fountains (Chemin de la Fontaine and Chemin Rouge).
Outdoor floral decoration of the village and municipal buildings.
Maintenance of playgrounds, parks, and gardens.
Monitoring, maintenance, and restoration of the banks of the Bergère.
Collection and sorting of PET.
Routine maintenance of municipal buildings.
Supervision of monthly cleaning of the multipurpose hall by the contracted company.
Cleaning of windows in municipal buildings.
Operational and technical coordination of events held in municipal facilities.
Management of keys and access to municipal facilities.
Maintenance around the Catholic Church of Chardonne (the municipality of Chardonne is responsible for mowing).
Renovation Management
The Roads and Buildings Service, through its manager, also oversees the management of various construction and renovation projects for public buildings and other municipal properties.
This coordination is essential both for the smooth execution of work by external contractors and to ensure that commissioned projects comply with the required standards.

Replacement of enclosures for certain Moloks
Educational sessions in five classes at Jongny School on waste sorting on 7 June
Community clean-up action in the schoolyard on 8 June
On 8 June, following the clean-up action, inauguration of the newly equipped Suchet Square, featuring a table tennis table originally installed at Bergère Square and new picnic tables
