European Heritage Days in Lavaux

On 13 and 14 September 2025, the association Lavaux World Heritage will offer guided tours of the historic buildings, examining the challenges of the energy transition within one of Switzerland’s most protected landscapes. In collaboration with the Municipality of Bourg-en-Lavaux and the Directorate General of Real Estate and Heritage (DGIP), these tours will provide insights into the history and characteristic architecture of Lavaux’s buildings, their development, and the challenges of deploying photovoltaic installations.

Heritage of Women Days in Lavaux

For the first time, the association Lavaux World Heritage is participating in the Heritage of Women Days, a rapidly growing initiative, particularly in Europe, which aims to highlight the role of women in cultural transmission. On 19 and 20 September, the public is invited to a series of guided walks, meetings, and inspiring exchanges showcasing women’s contributions to Lavaux’s wine-growing history. Each visit concludes with a discussion and a shared “friendship drink” with a local figure.
