Naturalization
Naturalization is the process by which a foreign national acquires Swiss citizenship.
Its legal framework is defined by the Federal Act on the Acquisition and Loss of Swiss Citizenship (LN) and the Cantonal Act on Vaud Citizenship (LDCV).
In Jongny, the municipality is responsible for processing naturalization applications.
There are no municipal regulations supplementing the cantonal requirements.

Municipal fees
CHF 150.00 for an individual application by a minor.
CHF 250.00 for an individual application by an adult.
CHF 300.00 for a family application.
Application for citizenship of Jongny
Any citizen may apply for cantonal citizenship and municipal citizenship in their place of residence or in a municipality with which they have close ties.
